Soft Shelled eggs
VIT D & CALCIUM DEFICENCY.. A HEN`S LEG BONES ARE HOLLOW THIS IS WHERE SHE STORES CALCIUM NEEDED TO LAY EGGS. VIT D IS REQUIRED TO UTILIZE CALCIUM... OYSTER SHELLS IN PENS AT ALL TIMES. I USE A CALCIUM TAB I GET AT WALMART IN THE VIT DEPARTMENT 1 A WEEK. THIS WAY I KNOW HOW MUCH EACH CHICKEN IS GETTING. RUN A,D & E POWDER IN WATER DURING BREEDING SEASON, OR 1/2 CC OF VIT A&D INJECTABLE EVERY 3 WEEKS. .
