look, i admit , i have never seen a serama past a picture, and i know very little about them. i do know that my daughter lokes the pics that she saw, and she wants to add some to her collectin some day. how do these birds hold up in colder climates, compared to your bantams or larger farm fowl??? how easy are they to maintain? teach me.... teach me!!!! lol -tony

The bigger ones do OK, the smaller can go to freezing w/o trouble. If you want good birds, shop around, check out the breeder list at www.serama.usLotta junk out there, but if you only want pet quality, they are much cheaper.

thanks brian.. if and when i ever get back to work, i need to pick up some pheonix's from k.b. (havent forgot about you bro) and i will probably do some serama shopping.

a buddy of mine went to an auction a while back, and people were fighting over the seramas. damn things went for 100.00 a pair and up. i had to explain to him a little about the breed, and the old man couldnt believe it........he went and got a pair.......lol -tony
