Apparently, when you say OEG, you are talking about bantams. Do any of you raise the standard sized birds?
I am not a serious breeder (got my first chickens last November). My birds all came from working games, and should probably be called American games. I want to nreed them to the APA standard, although most are crosses of two different families. I am trying to sort the colors out, as they do not breed true. Mostly I experiment. I also do not know very much about chickens.
Several hatcheries offer standard OEG. I have not had much luck finding out where their stock comes from.
Anyone know of a source to recommend for these fowl? I have seen the prices for working game, on some of the websites, and they are beyond my means. BK

billyk- thanks for coming aboard. this forum is for open discussion of old english, bantams and full size. everything here is pretty new and just getting started, so stick around, you never know when you might find an answer to your ??'s. i know of some good hatcheries that sell old english varieties, that have a good reputation. give me a little time, and i will get them posted for you as soon as i can. hopefully we will see you around. -tony
