My first two batches of chicks are feathering out well and I have some promising looking birds. First I have some birds that have deep, dark blue feathers, dark slate feet and beaks. Next I have a few that are shoing creel neck feathers, and finally I have one that is showing standard barring on it's neck. These should end up playing a significat role in my breeding program. Anyone else seeing good things?

My first round of stags are starting to get some of their first sex feathers in and they look awsome! I have one realy good crele, one black and white barred, one blue red, and one that looks like his hackle will be black with blue body. I have pullets that look the same. I also have more of this breeding but they are younger. I'll try and post some pics this next week. The only draw back is the crele looking chicks have yellow leggs Can't wait til their saddles are draggin' on the ground KB

Mark, The leg color can be taken care of on down the road. I know people that have culled really good birds because of that and later on have regretted it.
